Warehouse Associate

We are currently seeking a Driver/Warehouse Staff member to join our team.  Looking for a team member that is detail-oriented and able to successfully work in a fast-paced environment.  Work well with others and have a team player attitude.

POSITION: Warehouse Associate
LOCATION: Kent, WA
DURATION & STATUS: Full-time
START: As soon as possible
SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday, 8Hr

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for safe, secure, and accurate filling of customer orders

  • Obtain merchandise from locations to fill the order

  • Assist in physical inventories

  • Pick up orders from vendors

  • Complete warehouse functions and training

  • Maintain a clean, neat, orderly, and safe work area

  • Basic familiarity with warehouse procedures and operations

  • Written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions/work procedures/safety rules

  • Follow inventory management rules as directed

  • Ability to perform simple math calculations

  • Ability to make sure orders placed and received are correct

  • Be a self-starter and have strong multi-tasking skills

  • Perform other tasks as required

  • Work overtime as needed

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • 12-month minimum warehouse experience is a plus

  • Experience in the floor covering industry is an asset

  • Able to work Monday-Friday day shifts

  • Reliable and dependable

  • Physically fit and able to lift 50 pounds regularly

  • Drivers license

  • Ability to drive a forklift or willingness to learn
